so i took my car for a paint job and also asked if they can swap my motor mounts for me. i had bought these polyurethane motor mounts online that fit the 97 eclipse rs but they said they cant install it because they need a special tool or w/e to install these inserts. what tools would you need and how much would a average mechanic charge me to do this job

If anything they might need to be pressed in but when I installed them in my 1g I was able to use a board and mallet. I personally didnt like them as you could feel every little vibration from the engine.

look under the supporting vendor section for some of the companies that support the platform.

I have Prothane mounts on my GST and they needed to be pressed. My uncle did this for me since he had the right equipment to get the job done. They are noticeably different from the stock mounts.
