Hey I just installed Polyurethane motor mounts and now my car vibrates like a m0f0 Is their anyways to get rid of some of the vibration? When ya start it up sounds like a mack truck starting up b/c of all the vibration. I'm afraid of bolts vibrating loose.

Thanks, Danny

make it go away by not using them

i was going to install some on my car but after research i found that it does create a significant vibration because of their stiffness.

i dont know how bad yours is relative to an "average" of course, but in general that's what happens when you use stiffer mounts.

About all I can say is I am one lucky SOB!!! I changed my timing belt and my Balance shaft belt had no teeth left on it what so ever it was just sitting their not spinning or anything, I changed it and got car back together and it'd not half as bad as it was before. But the car idles down to like 500 RPM and then right back up any idea on that one guys?

Thanks

isnt there a way to correctly set the timing on the balance shafts as well? i think i remember reading about them that they should be set correctly.

Ussually thats caused by your cable lines not being adjusted properly check the plate behind your intake manifold make sure its giving some tension on the throttle cable and if you have a cruise control adjust the pulley on it so its super tight so you dont get slack from that end.
