poll on cometic hp gaskets

i heard someone say some tech at cometic said they were stopping production of the hp cometic due to high failure rates .Want to see what your guys experience is with them .Mine is not installed yet so could possibly change the type of gasket I am using.

crap this didn't work..guess all I need you guys to do is say if answer if you have had a cometic hp fail and if you have used copper or hylomar like some say to do.
I realize some failures might be do to improper surface prep. But still like an idea of how these are working.I dont have a lot of choices since have a 2.4 engine.

Not sure its pointless. I did run the cometic hp with copper spray for about 5000 miles . Then something went wrong in car not sure if its clutch blew apart or something in bottom end like spun bearing. Car has been in hiberation for last year or so. The head gasket seemed to work fine and pushed it up to about 25psi on occasion. I didn't do any really special RA stuff but the block surface had some stuff done at machine shop and maybe head as well. I think cometic had some rough test about running fingernails across the surface and if they caught it was too rough..

You are correct not many choices for 2.4 guys. And cometic now don't make the hp anymore I think?

Will hopefully tear the car apart maybe next season maybe this season not sure. I have too many other projects right now to work on.
