plug that looks like knock sensor, located next to knock plug on WH

like title states im wondering what the plug that sort of looks like the knock sensor plug is. it comes out of the wiring harness in about the same location. has two wires going to it i forgot the colors of them. my car is running rough and i thought it was the knock sensor but that is hooked up. but i cannot find anywhere in the short reach of the unknown plug that it could go to. unless its right under the intake mani and i cannot see it. thanks

Do you still have Air conditioning? Might be for the compressor if it has been removed.

I believe the EGR plug is around there and another on that is literally right next to the knock sensor connector, cant think of the name it atm.

would the ac condenser be on the backside of the motor tho? the plug is really short maybe 3.5"-4" long. the egr valve is on the passenger side of the motor it couldnt reach that far. it is right next to the knock of plug comming out of the harness toward the driver side. i dont know what exactly the ac condenser looks like on these cars. im getting a code reader tomorrow hopefully it can tell me whats goin on

so it is fine that it is not hooked up to anything? are wiring harness's the same for 90-94 i know the 90 is set up different from the 91-94 right?

As noted in that article, there are a number of different connectors for the '90 harness. That connector, however is the same on all 1G 4G63 harnesses.
