plexiglass sparkplug cover?

i have tons of this experimental plexiglass that was given to me by someone who works at dupont. i was wondering if you think it would melt if i cut a spark plug cover out of it. i mean, i could always try, drive around for an hour or so and check it every now and then. i just wonder what you guys think it would do... so far as i can see it is just normal plexiglass.

Kinda depends on how "experimental" it is. I think normal plexi would sag there, but maybe not. You might have to go to Lexan.

yeah, i wish i knew the properties of it. i actually have a big sheet of it as my window on my computer case at the moment. the only property ive discovered is that it scratches REALLY easily. oh well, ill give it a shot.
