So I've been looking around for a black boot cover for my spyder (I know, lots of luck). Was checking out JNZtuning since I know I've seen them on there before, expensive though. Wanted to see id prices had changed. Now there's only the tan one, by picture anyway. However I did find this other 'cover' and want to know what it really is. Here's a pic, item # 2 is what I'm asking about.

{this is the sort of thing I inquired about a separate Spyder section in another post. we spyder owners need something like that, would be awesome}

It's definitely not the headliner. It stops before the back window. That looks like some kind of cover for the actual top, like a sun gaurd or something. I sure hope that price is for all parts listed. If so I might have to pick this up for my leaky top.

it was just a thought. maybe you have to cut the back window out after fitting it or you can order it without the window cut out and no window so you have to reuse yours.

Have you tried searching for a shop that does tops instead of doing it yourself maybe its not much of a price diffrence

I don't need a new top, mine is in pretty decent shape, except for the motors, which I'm in the process of fixing. Just want the boot that covers it when it's folded up in the down position.

Yeah, their prices tend to be by each part and not the whole assembly. I hate how expensive oem parts can be, but at least they're completely new parts ;)
