Custom Spyder cover/boot

I've been getting pretty into carbon fiber lately and want to start a project. I've done custom fiberglass sub enclosures, but have never worked with carbon fiber. So I was thinking of removing my rear seats and fabricating a baffle to go behind the front seats and then decline back to where the convertible top fits.

When the top is down, a hinged piece would cover the retracted top, and when the top is up, it would simply fold into the car. The shape i'm going for is something like you'd find on the Sky.

I've seen the light bars, the convertible boot covers, but couldn't find anything on the site like this. I'd probably make a frame out of some lightweight wood/metal, wrap in fleece for a resin + fiberglass shell and then cover with Carbon Fiber and some padding near the head rests for safety sake. I'm also thinking of installing an 8" sub in between the driver and passenger seats under the space of this new cover for a true two door coupe feel.

Thoughts? Examples? Warnings?

I actually have one of these, a guy made custom Tonneau covers for 2g spyders. There was only maybe 200 of them produced.

I don't know where any of my pictures of it are, and unfortunately, the guy that co-owned the shop where I was getting it paint-matched, left the shop, and took it with him. -_-

I'm about to have to hunt him down

That is sick. The rear seats are useless anyways.

The cover gives the car kind of a Porsche Carrera look.
