I just built a strocker motor using a 2.4 crank, I wont go through all of the mods to many, but we tried to start it and it was backfiring through the intake. The intake was hot and the exhaust was cold, so we noticed that the cams were 180 off, so then we tried to start it again and it is still doing the same thing, I am running a esmlink v3 with a map sensor it acts like it wants to start then kills, what is going on. do it have to change the firing order to the 2.4 or are they the same between the 2.4 and 2.0.
