Hey midnight, I've been following you're progress b/c I've been thinking about the SBR 2g20g. Have you done anything to the exhuast yet or is it still stock? I'm just wondering if that might be holding you back? Good luck, I'm pulling for ya!!
 
No, that was with a vrs 3 inch turboback. The thing holding me back is that I was only going 18psi and had VERY mild tuning. I am running pretty rich. I also had a highflow cat at the time, but I have now put my testpipe back in, boost comes about 300 rpm sooner (butt dyno) and the next step is to get rid of my SLIPPING clutch.

I am also hoping that was one of the things holding me down. It started slipping REALLY bad right after that dyno. So maybe with a strong ACT 2600 and some nice 94 oct. w/ good tuning (pocketlogger, afc2, and wideband), I will put some better numbers down.

I have been told that this thing really wakes up after 20psi and some nice 93-94 oct will also help a bit. I am very pleased with the power this has showed me. Anything beats the t25. I now have it set at 13 psi and it still pulls like no other I have been in. I know others have been in faster cars, but for me pesonnally, this is the fastest thing I have ever driven.

just my opinion, cuz this is how i got my 326whp out of my 16g, set your boost to the psi u want, id say 21-22 on pump, see where the egts temps are at on 3rd gear pulls and lean out the afc to get them close to 900. id say 870-890. see what happens from there. when i did it my a/f was still around 12:5 and it was on race gas but im sure i wouldve still gotten over 300whp on pump.
 
DSM, What kind of tires do/did you have when you ran that 12.7?

I went to the track this past weekend and pulled a 14.0 at 112mph? I have since turned the boost to 20 psi and am running 94 oct daily. I have a the stock clutch and it is shot. I also have a set of NO NAME tires and they have NO grip at all. Have you ever heard of Aqua Flow III tires? That is the name of the tire not the design. They are hard as a rock. I spun 1st-3rd gear and was aslo running on my slipping clutch. My 60ft time was 2.77 and I my 1/8 mph was 87 with a shit load of spinning!! I need to get rid of this crappy stock suspension and tire combo.

You have any useful advice?

Damn this thread is back from the dead.

Yeah, it is internally gated with a larger flapper. Since the dyno I have blown that clutch and TRANNYOMG and have since been in the middle of putting in am AWD tranny at an attempt to get my ass going on the AWD conversion.

Never went back to the dyno and the only thingthat has changed is Tires/shocks/springs and soon to be clutch/flywheel. Still need to get the ARP/HG and a replacement cord for the pocketlogger. Never even got to use it before I lost it. Going to turn it up on some pump and see what I get.

Then I will make a nice C16 pass and be happy I suppose.
