After my wedding in June, I will finally get to start building my long awaited project, my 91 talon and i have really big plans for it. I think its time to start planning everything out so i can get started asap. The car is completely stripped to chassis and the engine is stripped to bare block. I would like to stick with the 6bolt 4g63 since its already sitting in the garage and ready to be built. Lately i have been doing a lot of research and my ideal engine build would be a 2.2 stroker engine because I would love to up the displacement without losing too much rpm range. I only want to build this engine one time so i want to use high quality parts; however i don't want to spend the fortune that magnus wants for their 2.2 stroker kit. Since im not able to find a 92mm crank from any other vendors, I believe im left with the eagle 94mm crank. correct me if im wrong but if i use the 94mm crank i will have to either get custom pistons or rods or maybe both to achieve my goal. I really wanted to use Manley I-beam rods and wiseco hd pistons if possible. I haven't been able to find much info on this type of build; and as long as ive been in the dsm game, I have never known anyone with this set up. Can someone help me figure this out so i don't have to buy the $3200 magnus kit?

Why wouldn't you want to use the Magnus set up? proven parts that can take all the power you can throw at them!! Also the nice thing about our stroker kit is it comes balanced from us.

I would love to have a magnus 2.2 stroker kit ideally however its a little too much for my budget. other stroker kits (2.3,2.4) are half the cost. Im wanting to build a 2.2 engine with rod ratio and rpm range in mind but i also don't want to break the bank. I really like magnus products and if I had a bigger budget I wouldn't think twice about ordering your billet stroker kit.
