This is a friends car that I am trying to help get running. Car is a 91 talon tsi awd. Was purchased from an auction for 75 dollars, no thats not a typo 75 DOLLARS
. I couldnt believe it myself. Drove the car home from the auction parked it in the back yard and thats where its sat for the past year. Car is bone stock with 156k on it. Started working on the car a few weeks ago. Car initially was hard to start, rpms would twitch and after about five minutes it would start, but everything worked. Then car wouldnt start rpms didnt twitch and windows, inside lights and air wouldnt work. After a few minutes magically the rpms started to twitch the windows, inside lights, and air would work and the car started. A week later tried to start and same thing happened but this time the car never started and the windows etc. never worked. Checked for spark and there was none. Car needed new throttle body and a battery so I replaced plugs and wires, throttle body, tps, isc, battery, coil, and starter. Still have no spark. Checked ecu for leaky caps but they all look good. Isc and tps were used, but purchased for dsmotorsport.com so they should be good. My next step is to check the cas, anything else I should check? The windows, inside lights and air not working leads me to believe it is a shorted wire or some other kind of electrical problem. Anybody have this happen to them or a friend? Sorry to
