Hi guys, I am new to this site, and figured it would be a good place to come GET HELP. My mitsubishi eclipse GS-T has 69,550 miles on it, and there is an annoying squeaking coming from either the suspension of my car or the shocks or SOMETHING. I replaced the struts and had the bushing lubed up and it STILL makes this noise. The noise happens when i go over bumps, and things like that. My friends friend said it could either be the suspension of my car since it is lowered 2 inches or the shocks i have since there stock. So any input on why my eclipse is making this noise, will be greatly appreciated. This noise is ANNOYING as heck. Thanks in advance.

This sounds like what happen on my car. It was a ball joint so the entire conrol arm had to be replaced. I also believe that it was a factory recall.

is it from the front or back? definately check about the recall but those were the front ball joints i believe and if the squeaking is from the back then its not the recall obviously. but a commond problem ive heard of is the rear struts just gettin old and need to be replaced. do you have subs or anything in the back?
