Hi, I have a turbo that was given to me by a friend a year or so ago and im trying to figure out which one it is. My friend said that it was pulled off of a laser but isnt sure of anything about it. I assumed it was a 14b because it was a first gen dsm but when i looked at 14bs on ebay they didnt have the same markings. The only markings on the turbo are on the turbine housing. They say "m27" and a raised "gil" followed by a stamped "1". The wastegate has a sticker on it with a chryler logo that says some stuff about how the turbo is not suited for airplane use.
The turbo looks bigger than the t25 on my talon and if i can find out what rebuild kit i need for it (it has a bit of shaftplay) then me and a friend would like to use it. I have an escort that i got for free and my buddy and i were going to see if we could turbo it but first i need to know a little bit more about what im working with. Thanks in advance for any help you guys can give.

well nevermind, i found out that its a garrett m27 off of the lasers before they were dsm. Now i just need to see if i can learn a little more about this thing.
