please help me identify this spring

i have a 1ga tsi awd and broke the front spring.:banghead: i do not know what brand it is. the spring was on the car when i bought it.The old owner does not remember either. all i remember is that he said it dropped the car 1 1/2 inches

If it had an adjustable assembly under it, its a coil over. Looks like some of the spring is missing. Probably an ebay lowering spring.
 
Its not a coil over the car still has struts .. none of the spring is missing it just broke in half LOL..

There are several blue springs (e.g., Swifts) but they don't break. Odds are, they are eBays, as suggested above, and should all be replaced with something safe and functional.
