Amazon doesn't have it. Stores around my area don't carry it. And I haven't seen it for sale online anywhere else. I would love to get ahold of about 25 cans for my canyon

The blue seems to be a little more expensive online.

Does anyone know if there is a green plastidip? It looks like they are all coming out in matte/ flat colors and I think a matte green plastidipped car would look sweet!

No I have not seen green. Maybe you can mix them together. I would like to see a purple to match my purple big spark

Would a mix still result in a matte finish? Because I could probably mix something together to get a pretty funky green, however I am really looking for a matte finish.

I know they sell it in gallon cans but I have yet to see it on retail. Best bet would be to call performex and see if they can special order you a batch.

There's a vidoe on YouTube of someone spraying their hood with a gun using red plasi dip, it looks possible but would probably need a heavy duty bed liner gun and maybe some thinner.

If I can get a custom order matte green plasti dip in gallons I may give it a shot.

i couldnt see why the house sprayer couldnt work, same concept as the can dont you think? but the possible color mixes can be endless with plastidip

Anyone know if matte white looks any good on 1gs? I saw an sti and audi that both look great with plasti dip matte white and was now thinking of going that route.

if you read a few pages back, someone used the white and i guess they hated it, they called plasti dip and they said the white is pretty much clear with a small amount of white in it, it could have chaged from now and a few months back. Buy one can of white and see how it turns out, i know not many people have tried the white or red. I loved the red just need to put a few more coats then what you would with black. But anyways buy a can of white and paint a piece of your car with it, the worst that can happen is you not like it but then you peel it off or if you do like it you already started on your car

So after eight 15 min high pressure wash sessions at close range I've concluded that plastidip is some tough stuff. My roof finally started to flake a bit after the 8th wash, with the nozzle about 11/2 inches from the surface

Sorry to bring back an old thread I have a question about this stuff and didn't feel the need to start a whole thread. I'm kind of thinking of doing this to my car and I was wondering, can it be applied to chrome wheels? The reason is the horrible job Maaco did painting my car gloss black is embarrassing with the swirls and the clear coat peeling. However, I have chrome wheels and I can see this clashing. Can this stuff be applied then simply peeled off the car and wheels when I find a decent shop for a repaint?

This is the problem I ran into...the price per can locally. Ace Hardware Outlet online has them for like $5/can. Came out cheaper including shipping for my 10 cans.

Doesn't matter how cold it is outside. It doesn't say on the can to apply it during certain temperature and humidity conditions. I applied it outside with overcast. And this is WA, so it was humid, about to rain. At one point it actually did sprinkle when I was doing the bumper and fenders. It didn't affect it any though, which I am thankful for.

i know this is old... but if your paint has still held up this long i gotta see it.

i used it on chrome plastic and bare metal both with good results, so i assume real chrome plating wouldn't be a problem

It holds up really well. You can spray this stuff on any surface, it sticks even better to sanded preped surfaces, but it will go on chrome no problem.
