I purchased a 1990 Eagle Talon TSi AWD in September and have been tinkering with it for a while now. I have done quite an extensive tune up on it myself, all that's left is a full timing belt job (will be done within the next month). Need some input on my future modifications:

-272 cams (will they give me more low end torque, and should I go with the 262/272 combo instead?)
-evo3 16G turbo with internal wastegate (possibly ported with flapper mod)
-evo3 ported exhaust manifold
-660 injectors
-255lph fuel pump
-3 inch full stainless steel exhaust system with O2 eliminator downpipe (3inch)
-KYB AGX shocks with GC coilovers or H&R springs (have not decided yet), sway bars, strut bars, camber kit front and back (which ones are the best?)
-energy suspension bushings with motor mount inserts
-fluidyne radiator
-FMIC with piping (2.5" or 3"?)
-Halman cockpit boost controller
-turbo timer
-gauges
-LSD and racing clutch from slowboyracing
-3" intake pipe with 3" maf

Now what to tune with? What is the BEST for tuning? MAFT, SAFC, Scanmaster?

I plan to achieve a good all around race car (drag and auto x).

Thanks guys!!!!

ill go ahead can comment on a few things there.

first off bigger cams dont give you low end they give you more mid - high end and usually have less of your low end.

if you are going to get a turbo might as well have it ported and put the flapper mod on if you are not going with an external wasetgate.

2.5 inch pipe for you intercooler will be fine.

you still have holes in your list like intake and clutch and im sure some other things i cant think of right now.... AFPR comes to mind.

as far as tuning .. the S-AFC and MAFT or very similar so thats whatever you want and ive never had a scanmaster so i cant comment on that. I would just say get DSMlink but thats me.

do you really need the cockpit boost controller heh. i mean how often do you change boost settings. I would just get a basic MBC and be done with it.

If you want the absolute bet method for tuning, the aem ems is the way to go. If you don't want to spend that much cash then dsmlink would be another option. Do some search's on specific products and I'm sure you will be able to decide for yourself.

The EMS is way out of my budget right now, and I have a non eprom ecu and wish to go with something other than those two.
