I am currently rebuilding my engine and starting to buy internals from my block. I was wondering if anyone knew anything about NPR pistons & king bearings??? I'm not really trying to make tons of power. I'm doing a budget rebuild & it would be great to even drive the car again! Let me know what you think

Npr make the oem pistons its a great oem build for a stock car, i was going to get them but now im going with fored pistons and eagle h beam rods.

Thanks guys. Like I said, I am on a budget build. My car is not stock. Hopefully npr pistons and king bearings will be able to hold up in an 11second car

King bearings will do that, they are are about the same as the ACl Alum-glides

Aluminum silicon

Also Enginetech bearings are made by King bearings

NPR pistons, you will not have issues with, the rings come with them, just make sure to gap the rings properly.

They will be fine running 11's like others have said they are the company that make the oem pistons. I am running the NPR in my motor right now without a single problem, plus they are affordable.

Mizzumo has a deal going right now for the pistons, rings, and bearings for like 135.00 . These parts are the only thing that i run in my stock builds. I also like their eristic gasket sets, it is the most complete set that you can get (comes with more gaskets than the dealer set) and nok brand seals. You even get mls intake manifold gasket (2g) mls exhaust manifold gasket, and a mls turbo gasket. They run like 45 dollars for the whole set. I wasn't real sure about the head gaskets, but i haven't has a problem with them, i've probably installed and ran about 15 of them.

used my oem pistons for sometime, i need a bigger tuning window, this winter im building a beefier bottom end. but you should like the npr set up.

Thanks for your input everyone. I really think I am going to buy the npr set of pistons. It's only $110 for pistons, rings, pins & bearings.

@bryan, do you have a link to the site?

NPR has been around forever. The are oem on domestic and foreign cars. great quality you wont go wrong. Make sure to measure everything so your within specs, Do not machine your crankshaft. polishing is good. If your crank is out of spec find a good one.
