Guys , I did my search , I find that there are very few or none about these so I wish to pop out this question.

After many engine failures , I have decided to just rebuild my short block instead of getting one from the junkyard. My aim would be around 450hp max with around 28-30psi on the green

This is what I would like to know

is the Wiseco 1400HD worth the 100 bucks extra ? or is CP a better one , i havent heard of CP at dsmtuners at all
I am going to opt for the Scat Rods instead of the Eagle's , wise choice ?

my specs :

HKS 272
I got A Frank 1 , i will be making it a Green Spec with a 06h turbine wheel and 50trim wheel
ARP head studs
Mitsu MMLS
Megasquirt II , studder box & anti lag
Stock 4g67 Intake , 1G Vr4 Head

what do you guys think, sorry for my english , I am from Asia , and of cos :p i prefer USDM kakakaka while u guys like it JDM :p

I personally choose the SCAT's over the Eagle's. I like the fact that SCAT chose to retain the oil feed hole in the top of the rod. Not to mention they're (SCAT's) a little lighter then the Eagles.

Piston wise, the HD1400 series forgings from Wiesco are very nice piece's. I can't comment on CP's because I don't use them, nor has anyone I know used them. The SCAT / Wiesco combo has proven itself to me...

For that horsepower level, I'd run stock 6bolt rods and a set of arp rod bolts. Clamp the bolts to spec and get the rods honed.

Any piston 1g or 2g can tolerate that horsepower daily.
