pioneer mosfet 50wx4 install

hey guys, first time putting a stereo in. I just bought this pioneer head unit and want to know how to hook this up to my old stock unit plugs....pics attached below. Not sure how it goes or how to install. Do i need a harness??

get a dash kit. take the panel around the headunit off. Pull out your old one. Cut the wires. Splice the new headunit wires with the old ones. Put it back in.

actually you might be able to go and get a harness to splice the old wires into and then hook them up to the harness you have on your headunit.

What factory radio system did the car come with?

The Infinity radio has it's own amp and poses additional work to install an aftermarket radio.

well your definitely going to need the car manual for starters, to look up which color wires do what. and look up your aftermarket radio color wires because the color wires won't match. and yes the aftermarket amp poses addition problems but shouldn't be to difficult. once you figure out all the color wires its kinda just hook and play. I plan on replacing my head unit in my car next week so i could tell you more But I believe you may be done by then

all you need is a wire kit they come with the colors for the radio wires and replace the factory amp if you have one

you will need to do some research on whether or not you will mind keeping your dash speakers or not, having the stock amp power the speakers, or the deck.. here is a VERY useful faq
