Pioneer AVIC-D3

So I have the Pioneer AVIC-D3 in my Evo VIII as of now. I was wondering if the double din kit will work if I were to put it in a 2g, or would I need to buy something else to make it fit. Let me know. Thanks.

if u still have the cage you can cage mount it or use the factory brakets off the stock radio but no the evo kit wont do you any good

I made my own mounting brackets and used a double din GM dash kit which I trimmed down to make it properly fit a stock 2g dash piece. I wanted it to look stock and clean. I think it looks good and was pretty simple.
