I was wondering if anyone was running the AVIC-D1 or N2 unit, right now i am looking into buying a touch screen and am leaning towards the N2, jus because it would be easier to sell in the long run, but has anyone run into problems with the motorized face? anyone got any suggestions, also anyone got any pics (i couldnt find any where they were in a DSM)

try to find an N1.

you can loop the rear screen output to the camera input on that one.
with the n2 video is disabled when in motion and everywhere, not jsut front monitor. (and it does monitor the speed sensor.) It is compatile with everything from pioneer, and the only thing it CAN't do it play DVD audio.

the D1 does not provide DVD playback, which majorly sucks.

if you are looking jsut for nav, there are cheaper options

Thanks, actually i have decided that navigation is not an essential in the long run, and realistically there are better screens out there. as of now i am looking at the panasonic CQ-VD7700U which as a stand alone entertainment system is pretty sick. Especially since pioneer and some of the other high end manufacturers like clarion are giving out insane prices lately
