Picture 6 bolt swap ISSUES

I am having issues with 1 bolt on top of the tranny not threading in. Maybe its stripped, and another issue with the bolt that is located by the transfer case. Does a bolt go from block to tranny? Theres no way to bolt it down. thats A HUGE gap and im sure will destroy either my tranny or motor. HELP PLEASE

AND, how in the hell are you suppose to get the pullys on when you have NOOOOOO room?

Tip: put some rtv on the pulleys and put them together and then let it dry.
Makes it 21312321 times easier.

Maybe, while the motor is out, pull the tranny too, then mount them together on the hoist, then install as a unit? I found this way much easier when installing into my 1G. Just my $.02

hey be nice man, I have never done anything to this extreme. I could have been like all the rest of the dsm guys and post it up for sale, as no time to fix it or needs put back together or some shit. I'm trying my best here with what tools and resources I have

Yes im well aware of that. Do you realize that the kit I have is a kiggly kit , so im sure I know, I just would hate to yank and then them say, sorry bro we were looking at it wrong.

YES I did get it worked out. I had the flex plate on backwards. Also the block AND tranny both had these metal spacer things sticking out. All I had to do was remove one, so they would butt up nice together. Im such a noob.


Side note, I GAVE the 6 bolt motor away 2 days ago for a 7 bolt motor. I just want my car on the road, so I pretty much gave up on the swap. I made my money back on the kiggly kit.

The 7 bolt, slide right in and should be boosting soon. The guy I got the motor from, left out 1 ARP bolt, 2 washers, and 2 nuts, so after I get them, I will be able to tq the head down, and fill with fluids.

I was hoping a dsm tuner, had some laying around to help me get on the road
