Pretty pictures.....whats the retail on those shiny pieces?

Lol thanks. He quoted 150 but ended up payng about 225 after shipping and the curency conversion. Still a steal of a deal when i was quoted 300 from a local muffler shop. Plus checked the fitment and everyting fits perfect, good buy and :thumb: for anyone looking for a dp.
PS i have the treadstone turbo kit so the dp came from the same vendor.

300 isn't a bad price either from your local shop...especially for stainless steel....how big is the downpipe?

300 is an alright price i agree but the local shop did,t say anything about the external wastegate but ya the dp is 2-3\4 in and im going to put a flex pipe at the bottom and continue to a 3 inch back.

Welds look nice on the treadstone piece, too bad they didn't incorporate the wastegate pipe routing back into the downpipe.

Ya i was thinking about that too. And i was planning on having it open to begin with anyway, i kinda want to hear what the open dump sounds like : ). but will most likely get wastegate routed back to the pipe when i get the exhaust done.

I like how he put a exhaust temp bung aswell as the O2 bung.

EGT right there after the turbo huh...

The problem with rerouting is that it really has to go down at least 6-8" inches away from the turbo inlet to affect the airflow out of the turbo.....but when you get down there you have to deal with structual issues and access issues......(acess issues can also be a problem even when the dump is routed right back into the downpipe, if its not stainless steel the mild steel can warp from the hot and cold cycles and could lead to issues with the bolts......

Anyways those are things that I have experienced, however I did like the sound of a rerouted dump, but I've been back and fourth, and its pretty much whatever is easier to work with....and I love the sound of an open dump. Can be really intiminating on the roads.

He means that this thread is for pictures of 420A turbosystems (turbo, IC, etc.), not engines or other parts.

Well boys and girls, here is what mine looks like currently. A little dirty for various reasons but nothing a little orbit gum can't fix.
