Hey guys building a 3" system with MBRP muffler full 3" in can anyone post some pics of how their exhaust exits for referance. I want it to come out on an angle pointed towars the driver side. Or any other unique installs. Its a single tip not a dual.

Thanks

Here is how my 90mm (3.5 inch) exhaust exits.

Here is my exhaust, 2½" downpipe, then turns into 3" right before the flex-tubing and then its 3" all the way out to the 3" inlet/outlet Magnaflow muffler with a 3" tip. Just few minor bends, 2-3 or so, all mandrel.

Best I can do. These are from my gallery. This is the Thermal exhaust. It's a 3" pipe, with a 5" muffler tip.

I used a video camera to take these pics as I don't have a digital picture camera, so my pictures come out pretty blurry. As for the logo, I had it custom made. It says "AURICOM" in the big letters, and "Race Systems" as the small letters. The name, and font are from an old Playstation futuristic racing racing game called Wipeout. Auricom was one of the teams. I'm just keeping my car different. :thumb:

It hanged a little low so I had a muffler shop fix the hanger closest to the back fender. It is neatly tucked now and more agled to the driver's side.

Damn, I don't know how I missed your post.

Cool, thanks. I want to put it on when I get my new o2 housing.

here are a few shots of my exhaust 3" turbo back all mandrel bent made by a local performance shop. my muffler is the only one out of all of these that look used! :D I washed the car yesterday and notice the black on the bumper already haha.. the oil spots were actually from my friends car infront of me OMG

I noticed the black soot buildup in my rear bumper too. Is that normal or an indication that Im running too rich? I wiped it off with Meguiars Auto Detailing Spray and it wiped off clean.

After my catback install, I noticed that my A/F ratio is always on the extreme rich side. I know that these narrow band gauges are not accurate but they are good for something.

heres my Apexi N1 catback, havent gotten the downpipe yet, but this works for now :thumb:

I did a side exhaust on my 91gs. Im doing the same with my 92 talon tsi.. I just ovaled the tubing and then built a huge end for it. its minimum is 2-1/2"... flowmaster 40 series right under the shifter somewhere.. check my gallery.. I dont know how to link the photos
