I used two jam-nuts on the bottom because it provides stronger lock. And it doesn't connect to anything inside the tank, it's for the return line which just drops fuel back into the tank.
The AN to tubing adapter uses a compression fitting and seals fine.
The Aeromotive inlet and outlet fittings are a -6AN thread or 9/16"-18, they are the same thing.
