performace rebuild kits

i have a 4g63 block and looking for a rebuild kit. but the thing is that im looking for 400 to 500 hp so i need a rebuild kit string enough for that. so does anyone know of a site that carries something like that???

Stock rebuild with quality oem parts will work fine for up to 500whp.

I thought 400whp was about the limit, if you wanted to drive it more than a few thousand miles?

I havent seen that price for a full rotating assembly from Crower! Thats Cheap! Who sells it at that price?

I took 2,500 bucks to a little town called Wakeman Ohio right across the street from a well known DSM shop through out the entire DSM community. There Chucky built me a motor that that is rated at 450hp that included forged JE pistons, reconditioned my 1g fat rod pistons knife edged and balanced crank, balance shaft eliminator, it would be the equivalent of a buschur stage 2 plus that included my head job.

I am also getting ready to rebuild my stock 4g63t 7-bolt. I plan on anywhere from 450-500 as a final product. But for now I am just going to start with the internals, and gaskets, seals, things of this nature. Any advice, or links. My budget is about 2,500 for the parts. I have a local shop that will do the install.

I just found a nice "kit" on the turbo garage site. It includes the rods, pistons, ARP bolts, valves, springs, cams, mitsu metal head gasket, and a few of the other inportant things you are looking for. I am in the same boat you are in, and found little help with my questions, so hopefully this is little info i was able to secure is good enough to get you started. Also fel-pron makes a good, resonably priced gasket set for our cars.
