I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask but I think it should be...
I have a PalmIIIe and I'm sick of dead batteries. I plan on buying the pocketlogger for my 1g. Does the Datalogger provide power to the PDA? I don't think so. So I would like to make a power converter board too power the PDA. I'm pretty new to electronics but I have a general idea. Any schmatic ideas?

I built a converter but its secret :)

Runs off car power all the time, no need for batteries.
