I had soaked my old PCV one in degreaser before because it was stuck and oil filled. A day after re-installing it, I take it off and it works but is oily again. Is this a problem or normal? I replaced it with a new OEM one but don't know if that will fix my problem.

Unless there is motor oil dripping from it this is normal. Some of the oily crankcase vapors being sucked through it will condense inside it.

So its normal and you have to replace your PCV like once a yr or something because thats just how it is?
