So over the past 3 months I took out the 420a in my 99rs and cleaned everything, repainted, replaced majority of the gaskets if not all, put in lowering springs, new clutch and tob, new lower control arms and tie rod inners and outers, along with rebuilding the rack and pinion.
The issue-
So I just her up last night and went to go get it aligned this morning and the tech noticed that the passenger side lower control arm was cutting into the cv boot. Now its only doing it on the passenger side. Its almost like the bolt on the end of the control arm is too long. Has anyone else experienced this when putting lowering springs on? did I miss something? If anyone has an idea please let me know so when I replace the boot I can make sure it wont happen anymore. thanks!
