Here's the list I've compiled for the car, just want to run it by you guys see whats tried and true, best names to go with/prices etc. Current mods are TurboXS HPBC, HKS TurboTimer, Boost Gauge, 3" Exhaust.

It's a 97 Spyder GST - I'm not trying to make any serious numbers till I build a 6 bolt or a stroker, but as of right now it's a daily driver. Used for fun at track and autocross (I know it's 2 different worlds but...) and playing down the highway. Looking for something in the 12's for right now, preferably mid to low 12's but eitherway and around 350ish whp.

Here's what I'm planning on doing:
Exhaust:
Apex N1 Catback Exhaust
Apex N1 Downpipe (does this have a cat delete, or will I need to get testpipe made…also anyone have pictures?)

Turbo:
Slowboy Racing Intercooler w/ Kit
EvoIII Big 16g Level 4
- ported EVO III Big 16g turbo, ported EVO III O2 Housing, complete gasket set, stainless steel oil supply line kit, CNC oil drain line, Walbro 255lph high pressure fuel pump, fuel pump kit, and a Joe P manual boost controller.
Exhaust Manifold with O2 dump (I know it’s loud, but how tolerable is it with the 16g)
Forced Performance’s intake pipe (with no adapter for MAF)

Engine Management:
DSMLink
Boost Gauge
EGT Gauge w/ probe
Oil Pressure
Wideband 02
(any more gauges needed??)

Motor:
Sheet Metal intake manifold from JM Fabrications (http://www.jmfabrications.com/dsm.html)
Camshafts 272/272 (Crower??) - also will I need better retainers/lifters/springs etc I'm not planning on going nuts with the revving - I shift around 6g's at the track so..
Cam gears (Fidanza??)

Fuel/Ignition:
660cc Injectors
Denso/Walbro 255lph Fuel Pump
NGK BP7ES spark plugs
COP Setup

Transmission:
ACT 2600
XACT Flywheel (currently have the XACT with 2100 – should I resurface or get a new one?)

Suspension:
Tein S.Tech Springs
KYB AGX Shocks
Strut bar
Sway bars (what company)

Misc:
Coolant overflow from JM Fabrications
Oil catch can from JM Fabrications
EGR Blockoff mod
EVAP Canister
Fuel pump rewire

Places to buy??
ExtremePSI – 2600 Clutch + Flywheel - $649
ExtremePSI – N1 Downpipe + Exhaust - $699
ExtremePSI – Fuel Kit: S-AFCII, 650cc Injectors, 255lph HP pump- $689

Also if anyone could include pictures, if I'm missing anything, or any other helpful comments please go right ahead. Thanks a lot.

i dont know about any of this stuff from experience, but you say your getting a blow through intake pipe, are you relocating the maf to the upper intercooler piping, or are you going wihtout a maf, cuz im pretty sure that if you dont have a maf your car will run somewhere in between shitty and not at all.... as for the intake maifold, dejontool's is selling for 400 right now, (or it was, dunno if it still is) and it looks a lot bigger, but bigger might not always be better in this case,... you can make the decition i guess...

edit: forgot to mention youll probably want a fpr with that 255 fuel pump

Yea I forgot to add in the FPR, Fuel Rail (if needed) and the MAF-T will be on the upper intercooler pipe.

I'm actually thinking about it, I have a donor car and everything...just dunno if I'd be able to do it.

yea, for some reason i dont think youll have any problems getting into the 12s..... if you go awd with an evoIII, 660cc injectors, youll have no problem running over 20psi, which will easily take into the 12s,... and i would believe that you could find an act 2600 for less than 600, but i might be wrong...

edit: LOL.... clutch and flywheel.... that explains it

you will not have room for a testpipe or highflow cat. the N1 downpipe connects right to the catback...

Also was curious... 02 dump on the turbo. How effective is it as far as boost creep, is it THAT annoying etc? I know theres a lot of posts on this but with the mods that I'm going for, or would the difference be really insignificant.
