Shopping List Suggestions

Hello all

So I am starting a shopping list. I want to get my parts here for when summer hits so I can have some fun.

I am just asking for your inputs on where to get the best deals, maybe best place to check etc. as well as what brand to get. I want to try and save some money and still have good parts

So I will be following the upgrade paths.

First off I need some new brakes- more of a maintenance thing. Mine are old, and have rust and today while i was driving it, after it sat for all winter it will shake when I hit the brakes. Besides I want some new blue calipers, and slotted rotors.

1. Rotors-slotted, Calipers-Blue, Pads.
2. Needing a Manual Boost Controller
3. Engine Management DSM Link used one to save money would be great.
4. 650cc injectors
5. Open to Suggestions

What I currently have installed: 3" Turbo Back Exhaust, Greddy Type-S bov, Evo 3 16g Turbo,
Forgot to mention I do have a FPGSS342 Fuel Pump it came with my purchase of the Evo 3 16g from Forced Performance.

oh I have not heard much about ecuflash, do you have experience with it? Can you post a link so I could check it out?

Keep your stock ECU and tune with ecuflash, will save you some money.

^agreed. Unless you can find an ECU already chipped and ready to go for cheap (and doing bigger mods that may need LinkV3 or whatever to control the system) on here but most likely I've seen them as low as $400 but avg $600 or so. But it's about right as that's what it should cost from them directly.

Update

OK I got ordered an AEM Wideband Uego
waiting on the AFPR until I can find some 650cc or 680cc injectors.
Also got a Autometer Boost/vacuum gauge- from a member

Don't have any tuning experience with it yet, just ordered my openport 2.0 cable today and will start tuning as soon as it gets here.

Well I got hooked up with an ECU from a 97 eclipse gsx, socketed and everything with DSM LINK v3 from my cousin that lives in Washington. He sold to me for $300 plus shipping. He bought another car and sold his dsm and I got the link


Still need fuel injectors 650-680cc if anyone has got some

been looking at these though.

If you're not worried about passing emissions tests, you coulf delete alot of your EVAP/EGR vacuum hoses. It made things alot simpler for me and it looks better IMO. http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/art...-speed-shop-vacuum-diagram-removal-1g-2g.html
And I don't think anyone's mentioned it yet but at higher hp levels, you'll definitly want a new clutch and there are some great lightwieght flywheels out there you could look into.

No more im testin in AK but never though of removing all that. I'll look into it though.

Anyone used these injectors? I have yet to be able to get anyone on the classified section of the site to msg me back about the ones they have for sale.

Also anyone know where to get a new Oil Pressure Gauge Unit not the unit but the wire that connects to it.
