so im in the uk and of course i can get alot of evo parts some cheap and some over priced! so i have a few small questions i need answered and as no one in the uk has worked on an eclipse its hard for them to help me hahaha and im not just about to let some company tear my car apart to find out either!

parts are:-

evo 3 cams
evo 3 maf
evo 3 throttle body
evo 3 fuel rail

so ive read up on the cams but got no 100% answer if there bigger then the 2g's and the throttle body people have said they fit and they dont fit so im confused and also if the tps and everything else works and fits!

also is the 2g and evo3 fuel rail the same size ID and bolt pattern?

and the maf well cannot find anything on that! would it run a tad more fuel with it or do anything to help the car a little bit as a cheap upgrade till i get link and a new gm maf?

i do thank you for helping as this is really my only means of finding something out. they all get abit confused over here when i tell them its got different compression and turbo and injectors etc etc LOL thanks again

the cams are a mild upgrade. if you are getting the pair cheep like $50 for the pair then that would be a good buy. the throttle body is defiantly bigger than the 2G manifold so putting it on wont really do you any good unless you at the very least pull the intake manifold and open up the hole where the TB bolts up, now if you are getting the EVO3 intake manifold with it that would be a lot better. the fuel rail, i do not believe there is any difference between the EVO3 and the 2G. as for the MAF i am not sure... i know there are a couple of threads on MAF sizes but my guess is that you will probably run a bit lean if that MAF flows more air than the stock 2G.

Evo 3 cams are different than DSM cams, but I'm not sure what the differences are.
Evo 3 maf is the exact same as 2g.
Evo 3 fuel rail is the exact same as 2g.

Evo 3 throttle body is similar to a 1g n/t one, but in a 2g "style". Yes, it is bigger than a 2g throttle body because it's a 60mm opening at the throttle plate, and will provide no better performance than any 1g turbo or n/t throttle body. The TPS/ISC fit fine.

thanks for that info so not much to change then! i was looking at an evo 3 engine and thought what could i use off that till i rebuild it LOL

Get me a intake mani! Ill pay you!

shipping to the US of A would be a killer its not as cheap for shipping here and a good intake manifold would cost at least £150 or a bit less maybe and shipping would be about £50 to the USA so alot if you convert it to dollars
