Part Number for Evo 3 Intake Manifold

This site may earn a commission from merchant affiliate links, including eBay, Amazon, and others.

You take that part number to your local :dsm: dealership and they ain't gonna be able to do shit for you. (As if that's anything out of the ordinary.) Anyways, having a part number doesn't mean you'll get what you want. Can't still believe you're looking for one of these Josh. Should have kept you eyes on eBay closer. There was one a week or two back that sold very very cheap.

Ya guys I called the dealership today and he said the part number was unavailable. I thought it was possible to get the JDM galant knuckles for the Evo Brembo conversion though? I was hoping I could maybe get one of these intake manifolds shipped from Japan like the knuckles :aha: (I'm assuming JDM knuckles come from Japan at some point so why not the manifold). I was basically just looking for a price quote for the hell of it. I have a 20% discount at my local dealership and these are really hard to come by. Most likely it would have still been way to expensive to be worth while though.

Well Anthony I think my problem is I keep losing and gaining interest in the Evo 3 Intake LOL. I used to look on Ebay everyday but I have never seen one that's not in England or Australia. I'm looking to spend around $150 on one shipped if at all possible.

Feel free to Pm me if anybody has one

Your average Mitsu dealer/parts supplier can't get parts from Japan. Good luck finding one that can.

PM debbie (user name) on here. I think he has a lead on these manifolds.

Ya my parts guy told me once that if he didn't have the parts in his warehouses throughout the country he would have to get them from Japan. I didn't think much at the time but then I thought, maybe he could hook me up with an intake manifold.

I actually PMed debbie about a manifold that he/she had in the classified section a long time ago. They never got back to me on it and the add was taken down shortly after. I assumed it was an old listing or something. Plus they are in Newcastle Europe. I was trying to avoid oversees transactions if possible.

Well, if you want a non-overseas transaction, I can purchase one from debbie (Eric is his name) and sell it to you ROFL

He is always very good about returning PM's I send him, so I'd say give it another shot if you want.

Haha thanks Brian that's very gracious of you but I wouldn't make you do that :p. I was able to contact him a couple days ago but I didn't want to post it in case someone tried to steal a manifold from me LOL.

I'm happy to announce that I am a soon to be owner of an Evo 3 intake manifold and coil pack with brackets :rocks:. I'm getting all this for $180 shipped with priority 5 day shipping which IMO is an awesome deal. He said the manifold needs some cleaning up which is fair seeing how he said he's not making any money on the transaction. Now I just need to find a 1g throttle body at the local junkyard to go with it.

I should work out some deal with Eric that he ships them to me, I glass bead blast them and clean them, and then ship them out to the buyer. I know there's a few people on here that I've done it for, and they look awesome!

I think if you can offer them at a reasonable price then you might have a market. I'm most likely going to have my uncle clean up this manifold for me by bead blasting it or something along those lines. It seems to be the best way to get these things clean.

Forgive me for peeing in your thread, but isn't the point of swapping to the evo 3 manifold to have a cheap upgrade alternative to other manifold upgrades available out there? :p . . . Wouldn't a dealer procured evo3 manifold be outrageous in price?

Ya you're exactly right. I have a 20% discount from the dealer but it most likely would have been way too much money anyways. These manifolds are really hard to come by and I was just doing it to see how much it would be from the dealer. They can't get the manifolds anyways so it doesn't matter. Believe me I wouldn't be paying $400 dollars for an evo 3 intake manifold.

Ya Anthony my Uncle's shop isn't as nice as that one though LOL. He rebuilds alternators and has various machines he uses to clean them. I used this to clean the 2g manifold thats on the engine now and it cleaned up pretty nicely.

I bought mine from Eric (Debbie) and he was excellent! He sent it 5 day priority from England and I got it in Fla in a little over 2 weeks. I would highly reocmmend him, he was communicative and the mani with a coilpack was a good price relative to here.

I can get you guys a price on a new one, if they're even still available, if you want to know how much it'd cost ;)

You have me kind of curious now.

You might as well seeing how that was basically the original reason for me starting this thread. The stock 2g intake manifold is around $270 list price. That's $216 with a 20% discount. That's actually not too terrible for someone that wants one brand new and doesn't want to look on Ebay every day LOL. That's assuming the Evo 3 intake would cost the same though and is still available from your special source ;).
