Can I get a palm m130 and do logging with it instead of lugging around a big old laptop all the time??? I dont want to tune with it or anything but monitor knock, coolant temps, int temp etc... Can I do this??? I have dsmlink v2.5 and ecmlink software. Can I put the software on the palm pilot and log??/
Thanks in advance...

Why yes you can. I am gunna be tuning with mine, when i pick one up. One word of caution though, do not alter the timing with dsmlink while the logger is plugged in. It will f*** everything up!

yes, you can use the palm to log with DSMlink v2.5 You'll need to download and install the palm version of the DSMLink software into your pda. Don't forget you'll also need the right cables to connect from the palm pda to your obd2 port.

Palm pda ---> serial sync ---> null modem ---> DSMlink adapter ---> obd2 port

You can find more info by logging into the ECMtuning forums for the dsmlink palm app user guide and software.

Ok I have the link cable, and it comes with a 9pin serial sync cable.... A null modem adapter connects two male 9pins together I assume.

I cant seem to find the palm software on the ecmlink website, can anyone point me in the right direction or a link for the software download?
