i have read a lot of unresolved post about this code... My uncle has had a auto 97tsi fwd for over a year now and almost this whole time it has ran like crap. when he first got it he took me for a ride and let me drive it, the car ran good it was pretty fast. no idle problem or anything. then after a month or so the car just runs horrible and get these codes p0100 p0110 p0115 ........... today we swapped his maf with mine, but that didn't make a difference car still ran horrible... sputters and seems like misfire. since i have a 2g tsi we were thinking about swapping sensors between mine and his car. next up on the list is p0110 intake air temp sensor, any idea where to start? and then next is p0115 ect sensor... is there any way that the coolant temp sensor would cause it to run this horrible????? any help at all would be awesome!

if wouldn't be a bad idea to check to see if the wires are ok.

-the intake air temp sensor is within the maf.

-of course a bad coolant temp sensor can cause horrible drivabilty issues. it can even cause no start issues with 1g's

LOL i was a victim of the no start issue on the 1g ect sensor a few years ago... i figured it out pretty quick tho and even helped my buddy when he had the same issue

and by the naked eye the wires appear to be in good condition... i examined them for awhile that was the first thing i did..... thinking about doing a blt if i get the chance tomorrow. would a horrible boost leak cause crazy a$$ codes like this?

a blt can never hurt.
to tell you the truth i have never heard of this happening but there's a first for everything.
you may want to check to see if the wires have continuity from the connector at the maf to the ecu.
