I relocated my overflow because i have a fmic and my piping gets in the way of the stock overflow. I am using a gatorade bottle. I drilled some holes in the cap so it is able to suck in the coolant. I relocated it pretty low. So my hose for the overflow is close to 3 feet long, in order for it to reach the bottom of the bottle. When my car is cool, it is always low on coolant. I have a new radiator cap and thermostat. I pressurized the system and fixed the leaks. What could be my problem? Does anyone else have a very low coolant overflow and having the same problem?

Ya I had a ghetto aftermarket overflow bottle you have to make it like the oem one to have it suck back into the system properly or however that works. I just have mine sitting on my motor mount chillin. Then I tilt it and dump the coolant back in every now and then.

It must be my problem then. Im just not sure how everyone else does it

i have moved my overflow bottle to the top of the motor mount. it appears to be working perfect. Still no heat. What do you guys recommend the best chemical for cleaning the heater core? this is my last option , also could the heater core be "bad" even if it is not clogged or leaking.
