I have been looking and looking and can’t find a solution. I have an ebay boost control and it is off all the way and reads 16psi. When I got it I turned it up to 15psi and know I can’t finger out how to turn the boost down to stock? On the road the boost gauge reads 16psi and it honestly feels like its doing 8psi and the bov is loud like it should. Some day it feels like 16psi it pulls hard and I can feel it why is this? I recently did a boost test leak and found a small leak sound by the batter and throttle body but don’t know where it is at exactly could this be the problem? I just put new spark plugs and wires. When on vacuum on boost gauge I step on gas and hold it there and the needle goes down slowly and rpms when I start the car it is at 1100 and after a bit of driving it’s at 750 and the needle moves slowly up and down on neutral. Thanks for the help

I have had those eBay boost controller be all over the place with my boost. They are not very good.
When the rpms drop and come back up its because of a vacuum leak. I would get those fixed.

What boost control would you recommend that's not to expensive

Depends on expensive to you grab a hallman about the same cost as most of them 50 bucks at stm, or most vendors. I run a hallman myslef and i love it.

Is there any way to put the boost down with my boost controller to stock till I get a new one because its all the way down and it's doing 16psi

Get a stock mbc, thats my best bet til you get a good one. I used a ebay one for a bit then i trashed it, didnt trust it, and upgraded.

hook a vac line from your j pipe to wastegate no boost controller then you should be around stock boost when i did this it held pressure around 10psi. about boosting at 16 and feeling like 8 sound like your timings being retarted probably becuse of knock caused by a sever boost leak.

I will try that but there is a hose that goes from the air intake to a three way splitter. J pipe then waste gate then in the middle to the intake do I just plug that up? About the boost feeling like 8psi I have one leak that's next to the battery haven't had time to find it and I have a cel on it reads big evap leak maybe the problem?

i really dont know how the vac setup on a 2g is as ive own a 1g but they should be about the same. you should be able to cap the vac line on your intake then there should only be a vac line on the j pipe and waste gate. just connect those lines and you will be running stock waste gate pressure about 10psi. ill go take a pic of my set up for you to see what i mean. sorry about the crappy quality took with my crappy cell phone
