Crazy over boosting. Help!!!

Well i have a 93 talon it had a Prosport Evo boost gauge installed. I drove it and it was fine for a couple of days. I was at stock pressure creeping to about 14 to 15psi. Well now it started to boost to 18+ psi. I checked everything there are no leaks or anything. Then i decided to see if installing a manual boost controller would help control the boost. I turned it down all the way and then it still over boosted. I DONT KNOW WHATS GOING ON!!!! its driving me nuts. Its been like this for 3 days now. I removed all vac lines for the stock bcs and now only have a line from the intake mani to the blow off valve and then from the jpipe to controller to wastegate. I checked the flapper on the turbo to see if that was opening by hand. Does it sound like my actuator is bad? If i replace it do i replace the acuator and arm?

my MBC had a slight hole in the vaccum line and did the same thing , just an idea

A MBC can only raise boost above wastegate pressure never lower it. You should run a line straight from the J-pipe to the wastegate. If it is still overboosting then yes something is wrong with the wastegate.

I do not know if you would need to replace the actuator alone or the actuator and arm as I have never done it.
