over boosting ??

hello again , i have an over boost problem and need some tips on where to begin . the car was fine until i went full throttle in second gear today and heard a bang ? i let off the throttle and eased back into again, as i was watching my boost gauge i noticed it going past my normal boost pressure . hope to hear and thanks for the help

dont know about the bang, but it sounds like boost creep to me. Here's a link about boost creeep.

How much Boost?
What Mods done to car?
Check your intercooler piping for blown couplers and make sure your vacuum line is still connected to the wastegate or if the wastegate isn't stuck.

Cant give much more info without a complete mods list.
