Powdercoated my valve cover SD Wet black

Went and blew some more money:

FIC 550's
Fuel Lab AFPR
AEM Uego
DSMLink V2.5

Injectors need lower seals, AFPR needs return fitting that goes to a nipple so I can use the stock return. I should be able to get the car running good tomorrow on the 390's and 2G MAS so I can get the windshield replaced and pick up my exhaust and poly mounts.

9-15-10:

Got the car stabilized today on V2.5 running the V3 app. I got the idle tune nailed down perfectly and then went to put in my Walbro and AFPR. Well I didn't notice I didn't have the connector for the pumps electrical connections! Oops. I still need to find out what thread the return is on the AFPR unit too, I'm assuming it's -4AN but haven't gotten any confirmation.

I went to pull the pump out and as soon as I put the wrench on the line it snaps at the sending unit! I didn't even get to turn the wrench at all, just put it on the nut. I guess 218k and 19 years will do that to a car. I rigged something up that should work just fine, I ran something similar on my 2G unit when the line on it snapped.

I picked up this line to go through the sending unit and attach to the stock in tank line from the pump.

I JB welded the line on the bottom and top side (yes it is fuel/oil resistant) and connected it to the stock line. Fitment is pretty solid on it. Now I have to drill out the studs that broke off on the tank and replace them. I'll probably put up a little write up of it tomorrow since it is fairly common for them to rust out completely. Hopefully I can get this fixed early so I can go do some tuning before I have to do some coating work.

Well I didn't get to do the write up I wanted to since time was an issue but basically I drilled out the studs and used my shop vac to clean out the tank along with my magnet to get everything out of there once done drilling. I then got m6x1.00x35mm long screw bolts that I "waterwelded" from the underside of the unit mounting hole. I let them cure and bolted down the unit which holds fine now. I think I bent my hanger since I put 5 gallons in and it's showing about 1/8 tank. I'm not too concerned about it so I'll fix it when I put the 255 in. I also got the Ebrake figured out so I need to finish that up tomorrow. All that is left on my to do list is hood prop, hatch struts and figure out why the blower motor isn't working, other than that it's all fun and games from there on out.

I decided to clean up the interior a bit when I was waiting for my dremel to charge up:

Before and after pictures would have been nicer I guess since you have nothing to compare to but my greasy hand prints were everywhere and it was very dusty. I plan on pulling the carpet to shampoo it one of these days too, possibly dye it black.
