wow this has been the most productive week for the 2.4 in quite some time.
Intercooler
30-32 inches tank to tank with 3 inch outs 12 inches tall and 3 or 3.5 thick. It's huge maybe overkill. The piping is killing me but I got it stabbed. The pass. side was no problem. Removed both the driving lights and cut a bigger hole in the fender where the stock pipes went through to accomidate for 3inch....The drivers side is a whole other beast. Hacked and chopped, but didn't notch any of the frame. With the 3 inch piping going under the frame and trying to squeeze between the radiator and the oil filter houseing, wastegate blowdown tube and downpipe has me concerned with heat soak. I may need to get a half sized fat radiator to give me more room for the 3inch piping. Then the gm maf I have is 3.5 inches, so I need 2X 3.5 to 3 inch reducers.
ThrottleBody
Then it chokes down to the stock throttle body :sosad: crap I need to do something about the elbow and throttle body. Was thinking RRE flange and 3inch elbow.
As far as the intake manifold I was thinking about just hacking off the top of the stock and welding in a bigger plenum. I don't want to spend 400+$ at the moment.
Fuel ect.
Pretty easy stuff. Just hate cutting that SS braided line. Harbor Frieght special 4 1/2 cutter, wrap ducktape around it at least four times and cut. I recomend the Aeromotive or russle fittings over the Jegs AN fittings because, the Aeromotive ones give you a larger depth in the fitting to slide the SS line into before the threads start making it easier to push in the lines.

[tank]--->6AN bulkhead--->6AN swivel90^-->6ft SS line following stock lines--->[engine bay]---> straight 6an to Jaz Fuel filter to 6AN swivel 90^--->ss line-->straight 6AN to rail----> swivel 90^ out---->ss line--> straight 6AN to Aeromotive FPR with boost ref.---> straight 6AN out Fuel return port to stock return line.

removed EGR, questioning if I should just put it back in it's just two more vac lines plus help keep temps down while cruising around town, and may let me pass emissions after tuning car down for sniffer, removed charcoal canister and stock fuel filter, cleared the firewall of all their brackets. Removed Cruise Control. Next I'll be doing vac line hook up Taboo Style with a catchcan.
