I had a shop do a miled rebuild on my 420a. put new cams and came gears in. i got it back and the timing belt was already in. i got the whole thing back together and it wont start and shoots fire out the throtle body. i think its a timing problem. i know how to set up all the marks but i think the marks on the cam gears are rong. i took the valve cover off my other eclipse and set up the notches on the cams with 1 at tdc and the lobes for 1 are intake pointing to the back of the car and exost pointing to the front. if i set my new cams like this the ajustment lines on the gears are no were near were they should be. how do i get it in time with out taking the bolts out of the cam to see the pins?????? Sorry if i'm in the wrong place, i've been messing with my car all day. thanks for the help!!!
