Ordered New Orings for Injectors and they don't fit!?

So I ordered this o-ring set for my newly acquired used injectors (PTE 680cc) STM: PTE FUEL INJECTOR SEAL KIT | 044-1025 and the large black o-ring seems too skinny to fit normal over the injector. It is clearly too skinny for this injector and seems like it shouldnt be stretched this hard over the metal rib (I cant even get it on). I thought the PTE was a Delphi made injector?

Am I being retarded? Doesn't it go over the second hump? The first hump is much skinnier than the o-ring BTW.

You ordered pte seals they should fit, if not I would return them to stm call up brian or Jeremy im sure they can resolve it.

I did call and they didn't really have an answer for me

Anyways, if I use the black plastic sleeve (not sure which way to face lip) and push that on first, the black rubber o-ring fits perfectly. It fills the gap show in the lower picture.

This is my first set of these injectors so i'm clueless on how they expect me to use this kit.

That big black seal is not supposed to go over the small-diameter metal step (or the big one), it's supposed to just slip over a smaller diameter plastic extended tip. Do your injectors maybe not have this plastic extended tip?
