Its time to rebuild my tranny as I bought it as a used in "good condition" low milage tranny(yea right). Instead of trying my luck on another one of those I just want to rebuild it this time. What my question is who should I go with to do this job? TRE, Bushur? Let me know if you guys have any experience with either? Or any other company. thanks in advance.

This depends on what you intend to use your car for. If you are into racing alot, which most of us are, then either TRE or Shep will do an excellent job for you. But you will pay for it. If you only plan 13's or so and typically use your car as a commuter, then any local trans shop should be sufficient. So evaluate your needs and desires and go from there.:D

Would you guys trust a local trans shop to do the job? I was leaning towards the proven shops like TRE,Shep and BuschurbecauseI know they have very good understanding of our cars. im willing to pay for a good job, Im actually looking to spend up to one thousand dollars. Keep the opinions coming....

This is my advise if you plan on spending that much at least.:thumb:

I have been thinking about refinancing and getting Sheps stage 3!

Im kinda leaning towards TRE only because they give a 300 dollar credit for returning a used trans. I still have my first trans so I was thinking of returning that for the credit. They also provide you with the shipping box and everything needed to ship it, but Im still open to suggestions.....
