open dump question

ok i finally got my 91 talon to run after an engine rebuild no engine noises at all mods are sleeper 20g turbo , gm mass and maft 680cc injectors , aeromotive fuel regulator , o2 housing with open o2 dump , the problem is it smokes alot from the open dump and smells like burn oil im lost every part in the engine is new what would cause this ? and yes its a brand new ebay turbo (i know there junk ) could the seals be junk already only ran the car for like 30min at idle so far any help ? if theres anyone local to the reading pa area that would come and check this out let me know

Ya the seals are probably junk, VERY common with the 20g ebay turbo as well as any other ebay turbo. Check for side to side play and in and out play.

I'm in Lancaster if you wanna bring your car to my shop we could check her out. But I'm definitely leaning towards the shitty turbo. Get rid of the POS

Fabian i would drive to lancaster but the car is not tagged or registered yet what would u charge to come here to check it out ?

figured it out today the wastegate was stuck open turbo spools good and no smoke guess ill run the ebay turbo till it blows and look for a mhi 20g in the mean time
