Only building 12psi

I just got a boost gauge and a turboXS MBC. I tried every thing and it's only building 12PSI. I unhooked the line from the waste gate and let it build as much as it can and it only builds 12PSI. Any ideas?

um..thats the stock boost....why you expected to hit 22

then...the reg questions..
what turbo set up do you have? what boostcontroller do you have? what wastegate do you have?
what do you have your boost controller set at?

you know the more helpfull info....

Here's some more info:
T28 turbo
TurboXS MBC

Hooked up the MBC a few different ways and it will not build more than 10-12 PSI. I run it with open wate gate and it only built 12 PSI. I'm trying to get 14psi.

Check for boost leaks. www.vfaq.com Also make sure your wastegate is opening right.

I see you have a 2g. If you still have that plastic BOV it is probably leaking any extra boost.

1) Do an intake leak test, it will show you where your boost is going.

2) check for shaft play on the turbo. It will tell you if it is dying, and can't produce more than 12 psi.

The T28 is new. I just got it from Garrett 4 weeks ago. A friend of mine is going to do a pressure test.

Profile doesn't mention having an aftermarket or 1G BOV. That's your problem. The stock 2G unit leaks @ 12PSI.

I'll have to try a different BOV to see if that corrects it.
