Stutterbox only building 5psi?

On all settings its seems Im only building 5-8 psi off the line.

still on the 14b.....is that normal or should i build more?

I think i build about 10psi on my e316g with a 5500rpm stutter.. I have a act lightweight flywheel too which doesnt help launching. What do you have the rev limiter set too?

It doesnt matter much what its at.

from 4500-5250 i build about 5-6psi and at 5500 i build maybe 8.

Well yea you probably should be building a little more boost than that. Do you have any boost leaks? How long are you holding the stuttarbox?

Im almost positive all my leaks are gone, lasttime i leak tested only my TB was leaking.

Since then Ive gotten a new TB.
If i have any still its at my MBC.

Whenever ive done it ive held the stutter for probably no more than 10 seconds.

Not sure, but I know I build about 10psi on a e316g so id assume you should be building more than me with your 14b, but I also have open downpipe so that may make this an improper comparison.

Thats the Anti-Lag talking.

Anti-lag and a 2-step are only vaguely similar, and have very different uses. The fact that you can build boost while stuttering is not by design.

I knew they were different, anti-lag being superior , i guess i just expected more than 5lbs.

Im not dissappointed at all, launches are pretty violent...just needed to make sure im not missing something.

if you are tuning by dsmlink try changing timing to 10* and enrichment fuel to 10%. I only build about 10psi off the line, but boost isn't going to be the end-all-be-all of good launches

I thought about bumping mines up to 6k to get a more vicious launch but I dont want to break anything either as this is my DD. So far 5500 is pretty aggressive.

If you have the funds get dsmlink, if your el cheapo like me just get a chipped ecu.
( Think hondata ) Similarities. .... I run my stuttarbox off the chip, and I get no lift to shift
were i keep full boost and dont have to take foot off gas during shifting while not overreving.
The chip is a good comparimise. Just get a logger and wide band first before you start tuning.
