Okay, I've been having these issues for months, now and I've picked my car apart trying to figure it out. This might be long, but please bear with me and try to help me out please.

First off, I'm having a strange idle issue. The car is a 95 Talon TSi AWD automatic, using a 97 ECU. My car is running a E316G w/ 255 Walbro and 550cc injectors. When I start the car, it does its normal high idle until it warms up, then the idle drops to about 750-800. BUT after I drive it about 5 miles, once I shift the automatic transmission to PARK or NEUTRAL, the idle goes up to like 1200 - 1600. In any gear, it sits at like 900-950.

That's only half of my problem. Recently I removed the emissions equipment, but left all the solenoids plugged into the harnesses. I'm now getting an EVAP Emissions code, code P0443. Cannot figure out what's causing that, or if maybe that's causing the problems.

Also, after I clear the codes, then drive it once, turn it off, and start it again, they both come back, and the other code is a WASTEGATE ACTUATOR MALFUNCTION code. The only thing I can think of being the cause of this is that I removed the Boost Control Solenoid completely. I threw it away.

I have a Hallman Pro MBC, and it doesn't do a very good job controlling boost which may be related. I have it set just about as low as it will go without falling apart, and at WOT, I'm still boosting to like 28 PSI on my wee little 16G. My AFR is still way rich at this high of boost, but the car starts running crazy when it boosts that high.

Any advice or insight on any of my issues would be great, I've been posting on Talk and searching high and low for some type of answer. Already swapped the ISC, adjusted the TPS, have a new TPS on order. NO BOOST LEAKS, I've gone over this thing with a fine tooth comb, and I must be missing something.

Thanks in advance guys.

Check how you have the boost controller ran? Is the only thing I can think of at this time.

The boost controller is ran right off of a boost source and straight to the wastegate. Not T'd into the BOV.

The sensors will still throw a code if they arent reading or getting the input they are looking for, I would think. I know that the car will run funny if you get certain codes. I would do a search on engine emissions removal and see if there is anything that you are supposed to do to make the system happy. The same for the boost controller for that matter.

Trust me, I've searched millions of times. I don't see why it would cause my car to run weird though. The EVAP engine code makes sense, since I removed the emissions stuff.

But the other engine code makes me wonder. Plus all the idle issues I'm still having aren't resolved by turning the engine lights off.
