So on my adventure to try and put a check valve back into my break booster line, I had to "jump" through a few hoops along the way. My first stop were all the big name parts stores, they had check vales but most were the wrong size or they had to special order it. Well call me insecure but I really just don't trust those little after market air valves, I want something that was designed to be in the booster line. So my next stop was the dealer part store, Chrysler couldn't help me and the closest Mitsubishi dealer was 150 miles away...So I called ...yes they knew What i wanted and the fist time I talked to them they said no problem. Next day I get a call and I hear the dreaded words "Part Is Obsolete" apparently after ten years all parts are obsolete(didn't know that)....great just what I wanted to hear. So my Final stop was the Junk yard (which I hate going to because usually I have to deal with over priced parts and A**hole parts dealers) I check ALL of the eclipses they have in the yard and.... nothing most were non turbo or had no motors at all ....but long behold (and not to brag) but Honda comes through again...and I see a check valve in the booster line (pic below) and I grab it ...so then I stared checking all the cars I found 3 more accords and 2 300ZX's with check valve in the booster lines...I don't take chances a take them all. They all look like they fit 3/8 line so I going to buy some more rubber line and hopefully my mystery "humming" noise will disappear. So long story short, My advice to you if your looking for the check valve that goes in your break booster line try your local junk yard first!
ps. don't be afraid to check all the cars
