Manual Rack & Pinion - Where to find one?

I have been looking at the sites that you would find links to off of this site, and including this site, and have yet to have seen a manual rack & pinion for sale on any of them.

Anyone know where to get one?

Cant tell you the answere to your question, but if your looking to eliminate your PS this should be of help. When you take the pump out, get a fitting so you can connect the 2 lines together. You have to cut the one end off. Then fill them up with as much ps fluid as you can, then connect them together. This way atleast you will have some fluid in there and then it wont be metal on metal when steering. Ive had that done to my car for over a year now and so far i havent had any problems

Thanks for the tip, but I am not looking so much to eliminate the pump as much as I just want a manual rack. I read somewhere on here that alot of autocross DSM'ers use manual racks because of the quicker steering ratio and the lighter weight (guessing that just means no pump). I figure less weight + less stuff to break + quicker ratio = right up my alley. If they meant what you are talking about, I will keep my power steering. But if anyone knows if a fully manual rack is made for a 2g DSM and where to get it, please let me know asap. Thanks!
